Broadway-Chapel Food Tour
by Taste of New Haven
Combining some of New Haven’s best restaurant tastings with a fun shopping spree, the Broadway-Chapel Food Tour demonstrates downtown’s amazing walkability within the splendid architecture and history of Yale University. On this tour we visit Tomatillo Taco Joint for chips, salsa & limonada and Yorkside Pizza & Restaurant for Greek specialties, pizza & wine, followed by a 20 minute shopping spree in the Broadway District at stores like J.Crew, Urban Outfitters, Patagonia, Trailblazer, Apple, Barbour and Origins. We continue our food trail with Crepes Choupette for a crepe and galette tasting, Turkish meze and tea at Midpoint Istanbul and duck quesadilla & caipirinhas at Pacifico. We end the tour with another shopping experience of the Chapel Street merchants including Wave Gallery, idiom Boutique, L’Occitane en Provence and Raggs for Men & Women, finishing our day with desert at the famed Anchor Spa.
