Find convenient parking in New Haven when visiting The Shops at Yale, located just steps from Yale University and the historic New Haven Green. Our surface parking lots make it easy to access the district’s restaurants, boutiques, cafés, and cultural attractions. 

Parking in New Haven for Shopping & Dining

The Shops at Yale on Broadway:
56 Broadway (across from Apple/lululemon/J.Crew)
$2.00 per hour. 4-hour max, 6-hour max with receipt from a restaurant at The Shops at Yale. A $35 fee applies after exceeding time limit.
EV charging available. 

40 Dixwell Avenue (across from Tropical Smoothie & Yamasaki Teriyaki)
Just past the 56 Broadway Lot, follow Dixwell Avenue, stay to right. The parking lot entrance will be on the left.
Two free tour bus parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. $0.75 per half hour. No time limit.

$2.00 per hour Mon.-Sat. 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

$12.00 daily Special Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm.
Sunday $10.00 flat all-day.

Park New Haven makes shopping, dining, and exploring downtown New Haven on weekends easier than ever. Now you can park from 9 AM to 4 PM Saturdays and Sundays for just $4.00. This program is valid at the Temple Street and Crown Street Garages.

Free Parking for Participating Restaurants from Park New Haven
Dine at Harvest, Midpoint Istanbul, Pacifico, South Bay, Union League, or Villa Lulu and park free after 4 PM to 3 AM at the

On-Street Parking Information:
Downtown New Haven has more than 15,000 convenient parking spaces. Free on-street parking is offered after 9pm and Sundays.

Train Service:
The Shops at Yale is a 10-minute walk from State Street Station and a 15-minute walk from Union Station. The
Union Station Shuttle provides free service between the train station and the New Haven Green on weekdays.

Plane:
Tweed New Haven Airport is located about 5 miles from downtown New Haven and The Shops at Yale.

Bus Service:

CTTransit local bus routes provide service to the New Haven Green, just a few minutes’ walk from The Shops at Yale.
