Founded in Puerto Rico by Chef Reinaldo Sánchez and Chef Lorivie Alicea, Vía Láctea was recently distinguished as a 2024 James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalist, Bakery. The nomination recognized Vía Láctea’s unique plant-based ice cream recipes, said Sánchez.
