Local Artist Featured in Brooklyn Record Label’s 10-Year Anniversary Concert
at Neighborhood Music School

 

 

Neighborhood Music School will host a 10-Year Anniversary concert featuring Music Starts From Silence Records (MSFS) artists,  including performances by Sub-Verse, Loop 2.4.3, and guest artist Rachael Elliott.  NMS Faculty member István Peter B’Racz (New Haven) will perform alongside other international artists in a 10-Year retrospective of the Brooklyn record label (MSFS), on Saturday, April 14, 7:30 p.m., at Neighborhood Music School, 100 Audubon St., New Haven, CT 06510. Admission: $10 at the door.

 

Concert-goers can expect an eclectic range of musical genres, from electronic to edgy, to a re-take on classical. B’Racz will premiere new music, including collaborative works with Tom Burnett (NYC) and Thomas Kozumplik (NYC), as the electric trio Sub-Verse. Loop 2.4.3. Also featured are Padma Newsome (AUS), and special guest Rachael Elliott (GER, bassoonist for Clogs, the improvising chamber ensemble started in New Haven in 2000), who fill out the program.
